Conventionally in the UK: Scaphoid - wrist. Navicular - ankle.
I think that the Navicular used to be called the Scaphoid Navicular,
but the 'scaphoid' part was dropped to avoid confusion. (This is
dregged up from ancient memory so may well be the other way
round).
Is American terminology different? (If so why - its our language after
all!).
